Prospective Members

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® thrives on our unbreakable ties of sisterhood and a dedication to servant leadership. In our second century of service, we have been steadfast in cultivating lifelong personal and professional growth among members and driving impactful advocacy and social change to all mankind. 

Graduate membership is by invitation only through one of our local graduate chapters and may not be solicited. An active graduate chapter may extend an authorized and written membership letter of invitation upon approval of the official Membership Experience to prospective members that have a bachelor's degree or advanced degree(s) from an accredited four-year college or university. For more information on membership, please visit the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® website.


Transfer & Reactivating Members

We appreciate your interest in serving with Alpha Beta Delta Omega Chapter. Meetings are held on the fourth Sunday of each month (excluding July and August). All members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® are welcome to attend. Business attire is required for chapter meetings. In accordance with international and/or chapter-operating protocols, visiting members are asked to provide two forms of identification (one primary and one secondary) for meeting entry. Primary identifications may include any government-issued ID. Secondary identifications may include, but are not limited to:

  • ​A current or expired financial card (in most cases, the name listed should match the primary ID)
  • A copy of your original membership certificate signed by Corporate Office
  • A receipt from a Cluster, Regional Conference, or International Conference that contains your name
  • An invitation from an attending chapter member that can validate your sorority membership
